02 / THE STORY
The strangest thing about existence is that the universe somehow became aware of itself through us. Out of billions of years of chaos, stars, and evolution, somehow we ended up here; Conscious enough to question where we came from, why we're here, and what it means to be alive.
I've always been fascinated by that experience. The feeling of waking up inside a body, living through a moment that will never happen again, and trying to find meaning in something we were never given instructions for. Instead of just thinking about those questions, I chose to do the most human thing I could think of: turn them into art.
I began writing Boy on Earth to create an album that felt as unpredictable as life itself. We don't experience the world through one emotion, one perspective, or one identity. We move between joy and pain, confidence and doubt, love and loneliness. So I didn't want the music to be trapped inside a single genre or a single sound. Every song is a different chapter, shaped by the people I've met, the places I've been, the mistakes I've made, the questions I've asked, and the moments that changed the way I see the world.
This album isn't a guide to living, and it isn't an attempt to explain the meaning of life. It's a snapshot of one person's experience of it. A collection of memories, emotions, and observations from someone trying to understand the world around them.
